Privacy

The short version

We don't run any analytics, no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Plausible, no Sentry, no Hotjar, no anything. We don't run advertising. We don't collect data about your child. The Lil Banks app stores its data on your device by default, not on our servers.

If you give us your email address to receive the free Our Money Rules template, we'll store it solely to send you the agreement and the optional welcome sequence. You can unsubscribe at any time and we'll delete it on request.

What we collect

• Email address if you give us one for the free Our Money Rules or a paid product purchase.
• Name and billing details if you purchase a paid tier (handled by Gumroad and Stripe; we never see your card number).
• Standard server logs from our static host (Netlify), kept for security and operational purposes only.

What we don't collect

• Anything from or about your child. The Lil Banks app is parent-mediated; kids don't sign up and there's no kid-facing account.
• Behavioural analytics on this website. No event tracking, no scroll heatmaps, no session recording.
• Cross-site tracking cookies. We don't set any. (We don't need a cookie banner because of this.)

The Lil Banks app and your child's data

The Lil Banks app at app.lilbanks.com is a local-first progressive web app. The data you and your child enter into the app — chore history, jar balances, savings goals — is stored in your browser's local storage on the device you installed the app on. We do not have a copy of this data on our servers. If you delete the app or clear your browser storage, the data is gone — restore from a backup if you've made one.

Third parties

• Netlify hosts the website and the app. They see standard request logs (IP, user agent, URL).
• Gumroad and Stripe handle payments for paid tiers. Their own privacy policies apply.
• Beehiiv holds your email if you've subscribed. Data hosted in the United States under Beehiiv's privacy policy.

Your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address in the footer and we'll respond within 30 days. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Children

Lil Banks does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
